Can you refer a dispute over copyrights to arbitration in China?

Yes. Disputes over copyrights are commercial disputes in nature, and may be arbitrated by arbitration commissions in China.
Such disputes fall under the jurisdiction of arbitration commissions according to the Arbitration Law of the People’s Republic of China, and are not excluded disputes (those involving personal relationship or under the jurisdiction of administrative authorities) stipulated thereunder.
Article 55 of the Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China also states that disputes over copyrights may be referred to mediation, or to arbitration in accordance with the written arbitration agreement reached between the disputing parties or the arbitration clause in their copyright contract.
