Notice of Hearing

If a hearing is to be held in international commercial arbitration, a notice of hearing will be served on the disputing parties within the time period specified under the applicable arbitration rules, e.g., 20 days under the arbitration rules of CIETAC, SHIAC, and SCIA, 10 days under the SCIA Arbitration Rules, before the first hearing.

And either party may request postponement of the hearing by submitting a written request or petition for postponement within the time period specified under the applicable arbitration rules, e.g., 5 days under the CIETAC Arbitration Rules, 5 days under the SCIA Arbitration Rules, and 7 days under the SHIAC and SHIAC FTZ Arbitration Rules, before the date of hearing.
