Additional Award


If the arbitral tribunal finds that any claim has been presented in the arbitration proceedings but is omitted from the arbitration award, it shall make an additional award on its own initiative within a reasonable time after the award is made.


If either disputing party finds that any claim has been presented in the arbitration proceedings but is omitted from the arbitration award, such party may request an additional award within 30 days from the date of receipt of the award.


Upon receipt of such a request, the arbitral tribunal shall make an additional award within the time period specified in the applicable arbitration rules, for example, within thirty (30) days of receipt of the request in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of CIETAC, SHIAC, SCIA, and SHIAC FTZ. And any such additional award shall constitute a part of the arbitration award.
