Interim or Partial Award

Interim or Partial Award

When certain facts are established beyond any doubt in an arbitration proceeding, the arbitral tribunal may make an interim or a partial award based on such facts, where necessary, on its own initiative or at the request of either disputing party.

An interim or a partial award is also final and binding upon both disputing parties. Either party’s failure to perform such an award shall be without prejudice to the arbitration proceedings or the making of a final award.
