Content of an Award in International Arbitration


An award shall set forth the claims, the facts alleged, the grounds upon which the award is based, the outcome of the arbitration, the apportionment of the arbitration costs and fees, the time period for performing the award, and the liabilities for failure to perform within the specified time period, and the date and place of the award.


The facts alleged and the grounds upon which the award is based may be omitted from the award if the parties so agree or the award is made based on the settlement agreement between the parties.
