Settlement in Enforcement

Where the parties reconcile with each other and reach a settlement agreement on their own initiative in the course of an enforcement action, a written record of the terms of the agreement shall be made by the enforcement officers and signed or sealed by both parties.

Where the party seeking enforcement reaches a settlement agreement with the party against whom enforcement is sought due to fraud or under coercion, or either party fails to perform the settlement agreement, the people's court may proceed with the enforcement of the original effective legal process at the request of the other party.
