Scope of Arbitration - Unarbitrable Disputes


In accordance with The Arbitration Law of the People’s Republic of China, the following two types of disputes may not be referred to arbitration:

(1) disputes over marriage, adoption, guardianship, child maintenance, or inheritance; and

(2) disputes over administrative issues subject to the jurisdiction of competent administrative authorities according to law.

Except the above disputes, any and all other disputes arising from or relating to contracts or over other property and economic rights and interests are arbitrable.
